Report 2005
Truly I say to you, today you shall be
with me in Paradise...
Our theme this year is The Pirates of
Paradise: The Treasure of Grace, and our theme verse comes from Luke 23:43 (above).
Our November Lock-In saw over 100 people (around 70
youth) here from our church, Hudson, Stow and Goodyear Heights
Presbyterian. It was awsome!!
Mission trips continue to be CHRIST-CHANGING experiences for
youth. The high schoolers went to Charlotte, NC, and the middle
schoolers went to Pittsburgh. Many were transformed by His Spirit
through the experiences they had. This year the high schoolers
will be going to Brooklyn, NY, on June 19 - 24 and the middle
schoolers will be in Pittsburgh on July 18 - 22.
Our Youth Intern is working out wonderfully. She is a sophomore
at Malone College.
One thing I have been seeking to do a better job at this past
year is one-on-one time with the youth, and
that has gone really well.
These are brief highlights of the year. I would encourage you
to talk to me or talk to a youth to hear what I or they have experienced
in the past year. What matters most to me is seeing Christ change
their hearts and lives, and He is. That is what ministry is all
about!!
