The Deacons care for our church and our community by overseeing
the following committees. Call the church office to learn more
about either of these committees or to volunteer to become a committee
member.
Hospitality
Hospitality is responsible for all social events
including Easter Breakfast, Woman's and Men's Banquets, Pentecost
birthday party, Teachers' recognition breakfast, Thanksgiving
dinner and Christmas dinner. In addition they provide funeral dinners
and the Christmas Eve reception.
First Caring Friends
First Caring Friends' goal is to be in touch with and care for
the home members of our congregation. They make phone call, visits
and send cards to those who cannot be here on a regular basis.
The committee includes not only Deacons but other members of the
congregation who feel called to this ministry.
In addition to the committees listed above, the Deacons deliver
flowers after worship each Sunday and serve communion when asked.
