The Elegant Egg: 2010 Show and Sale of Eggshell Artistry

The Ohio Egg Artists Guild will present its 8th annual exquisite eggshell artistry show at Akron's First Presbyterian Church during Palm Sunday weekend. 

The Elegant Egg Show Show will run from 9 to 4 on Saturday and 1 to 5 on Sunday.

A portion of the $3 admission donation (children under 12 are FREE) will benefit the Summer's Best Two Weeks Day Camp, a sports-oriented camp that teaches putting others before one's self.  Last year OEAG was able to present 7 full scholarships to this mission of the church.

Pancake Breakfast

A pancake breakfast will run from 9 to 1 on Saturday. Adults are $5.00; $3.00 for children 5 to 12; children 4 and under are FREE. All proceeds will benefit Summer's Best Two Weeks Day Camp.

Egg Decorating Classes

Egg decorating classes will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m for ages 8 through adult.  For a $3 fee, learn the Art of Pysanky with Denise DiGeronimo, create a Fabrege-like decorated egg with Sandy Steiger, or a Paper tole egg.  All classes require reservations at OhioEggArtistsGuild@yahoo.com or call 330.434.5183, as class size is limited.
