Who: Energetic, enthusiastic individual committed to Jesus Christ to serve a vibrant urban church. First Church is located in downtown Akron and views part of its mission to serve our surrounding neighborhood. Youth experience, well organized, computer-literate college graduate with writing skills preferred. Skills in group development, youth curriculum and youth missions desired. Salary commensurate with experience.

What: Director of Community Development

Who: First Presbyterian Church is seeking a Director of Community Development who is committed to Jesus Christ and urban ministries. This person needs to be organized, energetic and can develop community ministries incorporating both members and friends of the local church to improve the neighborhood where the church is located.
